58% of women younger than 50 suffer from sexual dysfunction, including decreased sexual desire, decreased ability to become physically aroused in response to sexual desire, difficulty reaching orgasm, and sexual pain. After menopause, this figure moves toward 100%. Sexual dysfunction is distressing for women, especially younger women, and it often negatively affects their self-esteem and relationships. Low testosterone and estrogen, and low human growth hormone due to aging is the most common normal or natural cause of sexual dysfunction, and cardiovascular disease and diabetes are by far the second and third most common causes of sexual dysfunction. We identify and address all of these causes of sexual dysfunction in women.
